Introduction

The school opened in February 2000 with the aim to promote and further the education of students who are, or have been, a teenage parent. The school offers second-chance education to young people whose formal education has been interrupted because of early parenthood.

Objectives

To enable teenage parents to complete their formal education
To enable teenage parents to improve their employment prospects
To enhance the skills of a group of young people within our community to enable them to make a worthwhile contribution
To foster positive parenting skills among teenage parents
To involve more children in an early childhood education
